Kefid · Posted April 16, 2015. This is the first year I was going to use a hydraulic sprayer pump on my 5088. Last night I was running water through the sprayer checking everything out and noticed the hydraulic lines and pump we're getting pretty hot. So I shut the hydraulics off. I check the temperature of the pump it was over 130°.

The battery was dead so we went home and got one off our other WD-45 (its still on a 6 volt system so the batteries usually dead.) We drove back and installed the new battery. I sat on the seat and fired it up. Rainwater had gotten into the distributor so it was only firing on 2 cylinders.

Kefid · The design of Bill's sketch is ingenious. Full flat bed when the scissor is ineffective, the winch cable is pulling up on the front of the bed with full lifting force at the furthest point possible from the pivot. As the bed starts to lift and the scissor starts to open, the winch force then starts to pull directly on the scissor.
Kefid · The dump bed on my XUV825i is stuck down. The motor makes noise when the switch is depressed for "down" (which it already is), but no sound for "up". Is there a way to manually raise the dump bed to get access the the engine? Deere dealer said "no", that seems wrong (or at least dumb)?
Kefid · If you take 5 minutes to dump into the truck and make the turns, you are using 15 minutes per round. 4. rounds per hour at 4 acres per round comes to 16 acres per hour. If you want to get a little closer, reduce by the 30 header/2 rod (33) which is a little less than 10% so the 16 acres would be 14.5 acres.
Kefid · The fitting on your cylinder should look like the fitting on the left, ORFS. You may have stretched the o-ring too much, so replace it! Clean the groove in the end of the fitting on the cylinder, apply hyd. oil to groove, o-ring, and threads on fitting. Place o-ring in groove on cylinder fitting and snug nut on hose.
Kefid · Looking for a Gator CS electric dump kit that won't break the bank. JD get about $613.00. the important length is retracted. If your actuator is too long, the bed won't sit all the way down. If it's too short, you could potentially damage something if you run the actuator all the way in. -Blake Green Tractor Talk.

Everything seems to be exactly right, except there is an additional metal tube that runs from the bottom of the (single lever) 770B controller that I cannot identify.
Kefid · Cadillac, MI. Nov 29, 2021. #10,441. I moved some snow tires from the pole barn to the garage. Then I moved some summer tires from the garage to the pole barn. Then, in a way more exciting move, I moved a shower stall from the garage to the deck so it could go in the house. And the piece de resistance, I finally threw the 68" pull type blower
Kefid · Only show this user. I just finished my carry all build and used it for the first time yesterday. I am thinking that if you set the carry all on the ground, pulled the top arm pin between the carry all and quick hitch (or just top 3point if no quick hitch), and then raised the lower arms it would help to "dump" at least a little.

When I first started restoring tractors I never thought about the fun side of tractors, showing them off! We always just had the work side of them up till then.
